Kenya Mission Trip: Who's Who

We've been asked by many: Who's going on this mission trip to Kenya?

Below are all of the individuals who are embarking on this life-changing journey in just 2 days & their excitement for this trip!!

DANA & ANGELO SPINOLA
fab'rik CEO & her sweet husband

From Dana: "I can't wait to see how God brings our team together and I can't wait to spend a day in the life of the Kenyans and be a part of their world."

ALLISON WHEELER
fab'rik Operations Manager

"I'm so excited not only to be going to Africa, but to be going with such an amazing group of people and to be able to give to a community in need. I also can't wait to go on a Safari!!!"

CAMERON MELSON
I am one of fab'riks biggest fans and boyfriend of the beautiful Ally Wheeler.

I am excited about going to Kenya for the following:
1.) For most, including me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get outside myself and truly make an impact in a complete strangers life.
2.) I look forward to experiencing a different culture.

ANGELIQUE WITCHER
fab'rik Midtown Manager & Corporate Social Media Manager

"I am thrilled to embark on this journey with some of my dearest friends. I am very much looking forward to experiencing another culture & building relationships with those we meet in Kenya."

SHONICA CROCKER
fab'rik Buckhead Manager & the Corporate National Advertising Funds Manager

"I am so excited to be participating in the journey, 1st because I have never traveled abroad (shocking I know) as well as experience a culture that is foreign to my lifestyle. I hope to gain new perspective on my life while bringing hope and learning from the Kenyan's way of life. I want to regain faith in my blessings and be reminded to never take anything for granted! :-) "

TAYLOR BENNETT
fab'rik Forum Manager & the Corporate Manager of Personal Styling

"There are SO many reasons I am going on this trip, but I am most excited for the opportunity to share and celebrate my faith with the people of Karogoto. Everything about this trip is pushing me out of my comfort zone, but I am absolutely thrilled to experience Kenya alongside this team!"

 BECKY HILLIS
fab'rik City Walk manager & Corporate Hiring Manager

"I had the opportunity to go to Kenya in the summer of 2007 and have been itching to go back ever since. The people are so incredible and full of life - I think I end up receiving more from them than I could ever give! Also, having the opportunity to serve with my amazing fab'rik family is a dream come true"

SARAH WALPERT
fab'rik Atlantic Station Personal Stylist

"I'm going to Kenya as a challenge to myself to do something radical to help those less fortunate. I am excited for my own spiritual journey as well as the opportunity to travel alongside friends, old and new, as we experience this life changing trip together. And I am really excited to (hopefully) see a lion."

CAROLINE LAFLEUR
fab'rik Athens Owner

"I am going to Kenya in order to deepen my relationship with Jesus Christ by sharing the love of Christ with the people of Kenya. I look forward to encouraging the Kenyans, offering them hope and reminding them how deeply God loves them and how He designed them uniquely and specifically for His purpose."

JAMIE LOFTIN
Caroline's boyfriend & Loco's Grill Owner

STEPHANY & SAMM DARDEN
friends of Dana & Angelo

From Stefany: "I am a loyal fab'rik shopper and I met Dana and Angelo 2 years ago on a mission trip to Haiti.  I want to serve, connect with, love and encourage my team and the Kenyan people that we meet.  I can't wait to see what God has in store for us on this journey.  I am really happy that my husband Samm will be with me!"

From Samm: "My wife is a fab'rik shopper and volunteer with Free Fab'rik, I am a great appreciator and beneficiary of fab'rik's adult beverage policy... as well as their coming to my rescue in my ineptness at finding gifts for my wife. We traveled with Dana and Angelo to Haiti two years ago and have been friends ever sense. I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of Kenya, becoming acquainted with the people and serving them in any way I can. I also look forward to spending time with my team and getting to know them. I'm glad to be spending this time of learning with my wife!"

NEELEY KOLSCH
A fab'rik addict and a vendor...I'm the founder of Well-Kept sold in the stores :)

"Africa has been on my "bucket" list for a long time.   I've always been fascinated with economic development in other countries, specifically as it relates to women.  I was very excited to hear we will be working at the knitting facility in Kenya which is a micro enterprise project for women in the area.  I can't wait to spend time with these women and be part of the construction team to improve their facility which leads to a better opportunity for them and the future of the village."

Stay tuned: Kenya blogs will be posted live from their travels from January 31st-February 9th
Thank you for all of your love & support!
