Tricky Trend: Leopard Print

What's the trend we've been spotting (ha) all season? Leopard prints of course!

While this has been a trend rocked by many fashionistas over the years-- it has definitely made its way into the mainstream recently.

There are so many ways to rock this trend: You can opt for a key piece (blouse, skirt, jacket) to create your outfit around the print or a hint of the trend to add a little somethin' somethin' to your look (shoes, bag, scarf).
Leopard print looks awesome paired with cognac, red, black, and brown.

We currently have these amazing Tulle coats that will allow you to get with the trend in a jiffy!

Wedge It Out

With each new season comes new shoes, and my personal favorite this spring is the wedge sandal.
What's not to love? They're ten times more comfortable and supportable than a high heel & really allow you to add height to your outfit in really versatile situations, without necessarily dressing up the look.
Think about it, most of the time we wear heels in dressier scenarios, with a wedge you can actually make the outfit look cool & casual, especially with wide leg pants & shorts without making your whole outfit look more done up.
These are super tricky when paired with skinny jeans, but if you find a sleek wedge that isn't too clunky then they're a go. Otherwise, you'll look like you have hooves for feet!
Wedges are the perfect shoe alternative for shorts, skirts, bootcut & wideleg jeans. They're the best option especially if you know you're going to be on your feet all day :)

Fall's Big O.

They are topping all of the magazines' top fall trend lists & all of the celebs are prancing around LA and NYC in them. But if you're like me-- a girl who was an avid jazz dancer for 15 years-- you have a hard time swallowing the concept of a jazz-like-shoe for anywhere besides the dance studio (don't even get me started on the velvet leotard trend I saw at market... hmmm).
Alas, I have succombed to the latest haute footwear find. Once I realized how practical they were-- just as versatile and as comfortable as flats-- I just had to give them a try. I have to confess, for only $26 a pop I could really get used to this! It's only August 9th & not even fall yet & I've already worn them multiple ways! You can style them with or without socks, with a cute flirty dress or don them with your favorite cropped pants, shorts, jeggings or skinny jeans to complete your very own very fashion savvy look.
Be the first of your friends to get 'em... because sooner than later everyone will be flaunting this new shoe craze!

Graphic Designer

While this may sound like your technologically-UNadvanced boss's daily gripe, we're actually talking about clothes here. So instead of taking a bat to that darn printer Office Space-style, might we suggest you take a swing at the so-hot-right-now tribal prints trend that are sweeping runways across the globe?

From Jimmy Choo to Diane von Furstenberg, spring and summer collections (clothing, accessories and beyond!) are including more and more tribal prints, paying homage to the "social safari" that is your life!

If you're scared of straying from your basic black, try incorporating the trend subtly with a pair of graphic platforms, like these for $36. We'd sport these with some rolled up khakis, a loose, half-tucked white button-down and a chunky necklace to top off the trend.

Why not test out this global goodness at Fernbank Museum's Martinis & IMAX tonight? Sippin' in style never tasted so good!

"Dash" into fab'rik for Heels Like Kim's!

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know by now that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have called it quits. Is it because she was expecting a matching ring to accompany his Superbowl victory bling? (Oh, and by "matching", I mean eye-popping...drool-worthy...at least 4 carats...you know, THAT kind of matching.) It's a question to which we may not soon know the answer, but there's NO question that Kim keeps it fabulous as a newly-single stylista. Check out her casual-cool style on the way to dinner in Miami Beach.

Kim's outfit is composed of great basics you probably already own...shredded jeans, a white tank, a long (and *tip!* torso-lengthening) conversation-piece-of-a necklace. But just WHERE can you find those killer heels...those oh-so-current fringe, nude, peeptoe heels? For $36, fab'rik offers these similar nudey beauties.

Can we say "UNCANNY"? Wear this pair of naughty nudes with sweet shorts or a notice-me mini this season and expect to hear phrases like "legs for days" several times in one outing. Call your closest fab'rik location today, and put these suckers on hold!
