Enjoy!

Hello fab'rik addicts! Thank you so much for having me, Jessica of My Style Vita, guest post today!  I recently had the opportunity of hosting a fun event at the Midtown store with sweets, bubbly and several giveaways.  Many shoppers brought in coats to donate to Free Fab'rik.  Here's my recap of the shopping night out!

Shop My Outfit

A big thank you to some of the sponsors for the night.

Goodbye cupcakes, hello mini bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cake. By far the best cake I've eaten.

Pulled all of my favorite holiday pieces perfect for holidays and events. Sold several items off this little rack!

One of my favorite things about fab'rik is that they sell so much more than just clothing. Their accessories from bags to jewelry are to die for and the art is always stunning.  This was my favorite display at the store.

Sequins, sequins everywhere. This store is READY for the holidays.

Helping a shopper find a few new pieces for the office.  With all the new skirts and blouses in for the holidays, there is so much to choose from.

My favorite thing at fab'rik is definitely their accessories. They always have the best jewelry at an amazing price.

Be sure to keep up with all things stylish with My Style Vita on TwitterFacebookInstagram and Pinterest.

Rae of Light

I'll go ahead & call myself out on this blog-- I am totally 100% biased. While I do love all things that I blog about: fab'rik, jeggings, shoes, weddings, etc. I can't even begin to describe in words how much I love today's subject: Savannah Rae.
Last Friday night was such a special evening for us fab'rik ladies. One of our very own, Amanda Wheeler, debuted her fashion line at our midtown store. We had a full-on launch party & fashion show, showcasing the Savannah Rae brand for all the world to see! Friends, family, customers, gathered on October 22nd to be the first to see, try on, & buy the easy to wear line.
Imagine, pieces that you can wear tons of different ways: with leggings, jeans, tights, boots, heels, jackets, cardigans: all of the Savannah Rae items can be combined with multiple combinations to create versatile outfits for your everyday wardrobe! They all fit the fab'rik requirements: trendy, fashionable, & of course-- all under $100!
Amanda-- We are so incredibly proud of you! We love your clothes! & we are having the best time helping other women fall in love with them as well :)

Taking Over Atlanta, One Burger At A Time

We have a confession. While we are a calorie concious, fruit lovin, healthy eatin bunch of gals: We have an uber hard time resisting America's cuisine mascot: The Hamburger. Who doesn't love a mouthwatering, juicy burger? (Or veggie for some of you out there!) Well, if you're like us you'll be stoked to hear that in less than 24 hours Atlanta's new happenin' burger joint will be making its highly anticipated debut!

We're all about being the bleeding edge of anything new, fun, & delicious in the Atlanta-area, but we have to say that this particular new hangout-- located just minutes from our Midtown location-- YEAH! Burger is sure to become one of our new must-go-to eateries!

Grab some friends, head down to White Provision on Howell Mill & sink your teeth into loads of different burgers, shakes, fries... you name it! They've got it! Rock our cool & comfy lace ruffle top for a mere $34 and go check out this new west Midtown landmark.
Our mouths are salivating just thinkin' about it...

Project Fab'rik!

If you're reading this, I think it's safe to assume you're a fan of Lifetime's series "Project Runway." And I don't know about you, but Tim Gunn is my fairy fashion godfather, and I live and die by his style rules only! So imagine the surprise of fab'rik Midtown ladies Angelique and Kara when season 2 contestant Nick Verreos walked in our door on Tuesday! Though Nick was not the winning designer, he certainly had a winning attitude that kept us tuned in every week (and a winning smile...my goodness!) He has since gone on to become the style consultant in the webseries "The Victory Project", an online video diary profiling 4 women in different cities who are looking to shape up, slim down and dress up!

Nick came to our store on Tuesday looking for outfits for "The Victory Project" contestants Nikki & Amanda. He loved our new cropped black blazers and playful jackets for working girl Nikki, reminding us that the pop of color should be worn underneath to create a more dramatic effect (and it can bring the eyes up if you're worried about your thighs or mid-section). For bride-to-be Amanda, Nick singled out this one-shoulder MM Couture by Miss Me dress for her rehearsal dinner choice (also perfect for you wedding attendees out there). When it comes to shoes, Nick loved our tribal wedges citing that neutral heels can elongate the leg and increase posture!

While beauty is certainly from within, Nick reminded us and his Victory Project contestants that feeling good about yourself is all about staying positive and feeling comfortable & confident in your clothes. Let fab'rik's personal stylists help you with your own Victory Project and keep track of Nick's progress at http://thevictoryproject.msn.com/. It was an honor to have him the store, and we'll let you know when the episode airs!
