Fall Trend Report

Hi fab'rik addicts!! Tiffany here today, from Tiffany Style Blog!!

Today I am bringing you some of my favorite fall trends that fab'rik is serving up for fall.

fab'rik has some of the best leather items in store for fall - everything from leather moto jackets, to leather boots, to leather details on tops and even leather bracelets.  Leather has a lovely way of looking super fall, super luxe, and very put together. Throw a leather moto jacket over just about anything this fall and you can instantly pull your outfit together.

My favorite part about the printed tee trend right now is that 1) it is super comfortable, and 2) you can dress it way up or way down.  For instance, obviously skinny jeans and boots with a blazer is a perfect way to dress it down.  But an out of ordinary way to wear it is to tuck it into a skirt and add heels for a dressy-but-not-trying-too-hard look.  I love to wear a casual printed tee/tank with a black pencil skirt and heels out to dinner. Once temperatures really drop, it's nice to throw a scarf and jacket over this look as well, and it's super easy to remove the layers if needed.

One thing I like to do when wearing red, is to literally just wear that one pop of red, and keep everything else neutral.  Maybe wear a red dress with nude heels, and gold jewelry. Or throw on a black moto jacket over your pretty red dress to toughen it up.  (One exception to the rule: add red nails and red lips all you want! I can usually be found wearing both all throughout fall. Maybelline "Are You Reddy" for lips and OPI "O'Hare and Nails Look Great" are a couple of my faves!)

What trends are you most looking forward to for fall?  Leave them in the comments below!!

The Art of Layering

Alas, we have come to the time of the year where we must consider warmth as an important variable in our outfit selecting each morning. I woke up this morning knowing that there was a cold front coming in (my husband might as well be a part-time weatherman;) but boy! I was not expecting cold versus cool--eh, I suppose that's why it's called a cold front. Yuck.
In a last minute scramble, I rummaged through my closet and put together the closest ensemble I had to remain semi-warm: cardigan, jeggings, and boots.

Once I arrived at the store later on this morning I felt like this would be an appropriate topic for today's blog!

Layers are key when trying to fight off the cold when you're out and about but don't want to burn up while sitting at the office. If you have a more casual work environment jeans with boots and a sweater are essentials to looking casual chic. A chunky scarf will aid in keeping warm while braving the outdoors.
Now if you're looking for a more polished look, a leather jacket is key to completing your outfit. Now as for keeping your legs and toes warm a good pair of leggings partnered with these chic quilted rain boots (only $58!) create the perfect put together combo.

Just remember to keep your layers slim to the body unless you're looking for the super cozy comfy look with a chunky sweater. If you layer like these two looks shown here you'll look ready to go and prepared to conquer any weather that comes your way-- all while looking effortlessly fashionable!

It's Official: Transition Period has Arrived!

The time has come where you find yourself staring at your closet because you have no idea what to wear during these months of the year! It's that awkward period where it still feels like Summer but really everyone is telling you that it is almost Fall. Well, have no fear! We are here to help you transition your Summer pieces into fabulous Fall outfits!

Summer Piece #1: Floral Blouse

They were so "in" this summer and now your whole closet is filled with them. Well, here is a suggestion that gets you even more use out of that cute top!

Try adding a chic leather jacket! Now your blouse acts as the accent piece of the outfit!

Summer Piece #2: Open Toe Wedges

These wedges were our hottest shoes this Summer! So hot, that we wanted to show you that you can still show them off this Fall!

You can still pull them off with a great pair of skinny jeans.

And they even look cute with flare jeans!

Summer Piece #3: Flirty Dress

It is almost guaranteed that you have one or two (...ok, three or four) cute dresses in your closet from all of those Summer BBQ's and pool parties that you attended. You can still incorporate them into your Fall wardrobe by just adding a few pieces!

Just add a casual sweater and a colorful scarf to make your little Summer dress into a fun Fall outfit!

Are you getting excited for Fall yet...? We know we are. There are even more cute Fall pieces in our stores and on our website right now. Shop away!
