Transition Tips

One of the most difficult things to master is how to transition your items from one season to the next. After all, this is the best way to get the biggest bang for your buck. I am a big believer in looking at items past what you would expect to wear them with: a summer dress is typically worn with wedges in the summer type. However, the summer dress in the write material & colors can be layered with a cardigan, accessorized with tights, and paired with boots to make the perfect fall outfit.

Looks Of The Week

Zoe Saldana, looking fresh and chic in this Lanvin gown at a recent event. I love the out-of-the-box neckline, the print, the fabric. I love how she always keeps things fun and interesting on the red carpet!
The Duchess of Cambridge made the list twice this week. I made a prediction that once she was in the US she would be donning a DVF dress and I was right! I'm happy to see her in a bright kelly green vs her typical navy ensembles she's been wearing a lot lately! Simple, yet elegant!

Another Alexander McQueen stunner. This lilac gown was an excellent choice for the recent BAFTA Awards in Los Angeles. The future queen looked beyond regal in this choice!

Blake Lively chose this flowy Marchesa frock to wear for the BAFTA Awards and to meet Prince William and the Duchess. I thought the silhouette was spot-on and very appropriate for the evening's events.

The Olsen sisters were a fashion trifecta at the Row's accessories launch this week. I love the mixtures of prints, textures, and accessories! So happy that they've parted ways with the overly-billowed outfits!

Looks of the Week

I just couldn't possibly have left this look out this week. Kate Moss' wedding dress may be one of my all-time favorite celebrity wedding dresses. I am in love with the chiffon, the neckline, and most of all the gold details along the hemline. Brilliantly boho bridal.
I am totally planning on doing a Catherine in North America wrap up this week because literally everything she's worn while touring Canada/LA has been phenomenal. I had to include this dress because as usual Kate's understated elegance always shines!

Red carpet amazingness. Oscar de la Renta at his finest. And Emma Watson looking superb during one of her last red carpet walks for the Harry Potter series.

Diane Kruger always looking amazing in Chanel. I love the way theBohemia & Grecian looks coalesce to form such an awesome look.

All I have to say is that Rosie Huntington is hitting her red carpet appearances for the Transformers 3 premieres out. of. the. park. I mean she looks so unbelievable in this uber-sexy custom-made Burberry gown. Her hair and makeup compliment the color, fabric, neckline so well. A+.
When Katie first started dating Mr. Cruise her fashion sense went form Abercrombie to Armani. And for the first couple of years of their courtship and marriage she was nailing her looks both on and off the red carpet. Lately she's been on more of a slump to me so this fun LBD is a great way to freshen things up for her!

Kate Moss equals calm, cool, and collected in this laid back look walking around London. This soon-to-be bride always has her casual looks down to a T.

Jen Aniston looking gorgeous as always in this flirty little black dress! She always plays up her awesome legs and figure so well!
